Information Grid is a generic infrastructure that facilitates the integration of any information anywhere across heterogeneous data sources under grid environment. Particularly, information grid forms a virtualization of data sources to enable an integration of any information available in any data sources. In addition, it provides seamless information integration independent of local schemas and data sources based on an application of standard mediated schemas.
